Hey all you readers out there!!!!!

I'm supposed to update...so I am.

I made it back to Springfield after break and suprised Erica by showing up a day earlier and opening her door!!  I really do love that girl...my roomate just got in from 'Bama...and we're making plans for another great semester. 

I preached last Wed.  to my youth group in Cedarville and God blessed those who were present.  I thank God that He allows me to be a messenger of His blessed gospel. 

Our church began a 21 day fast last Sun.  I am beginning this Sun. along w/ Pastor Jentzen Franklin's church in Georgia.  I challenge any of you who are reading this to consider fasting at the beginning of this year to get the year started off on the right foot.  If we put God first in 2007, He will do things in us that will change us forever.

I am currently sitting in the upper room of one very nice couple from New Jersey...here's the story as to why I am here:

Well we arrive at Valley Forge Christian College in Pennsylvania for New Jersey District Camp on Sunday afternoon only to find out that there is no lodging for us or 57:7 at the college until the next day.  We drive around to like 4 different hotels before we finally find one that our money will accommodate us for.  We then arrive at the camp grounds at 2pm on Monday b/c the camp doesn't begin until Tues.

Tuesday arrives and as we are preparing for the service a huge storm attacks the campus and knocks out the power.  The power was knocked out of most of the county.  We send the children to bed around 10:30pm in hopes that the electric will soon be back on...to our dismay no electric by the next day.

Wednesday Pastor Fabian calls us in to announce that if the electric is not turned back on before the evening that there is a chance the children will have to be sent home.  Hours later the campus informs us that the campus must be evacuated and after taking the kids to the water park for an hour or two we had to send them all home.

So a very nice couple from the camp allowed both Floodgate and 57:7 to come and lodge at their home.

In all things I want to thank God for His bountiful blessing of rest and provision.  His security is matchless.  May all of you who read my site continue to be filled by the warmth and blessing of our Provider.
